RAMP 'N' BAY HOST SITE
Ramp’n’Bay™ Hosts provide the physical foundation of the network—professional workshop environments where motorists and technicians can access space, ramps, and equipment in a controlled, structured way.
Becoming a Host is not simply offering space. It requires alignment with a defined operating model designed to prioritise safety, clarity, and disciplined use of workshop infrastructure.
WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A HOST
A Ramp’n’Bay™ Host makes available a suitable workshop environment for controlled access by approved members.
This includes:
-
Providing safe, functional workspace
-
Maintaining equipment and site standards
-
Enabling access—not managing or supervising work
Hosts do not act as service providers within the Ramp’n’Bay™ model. The role is to support a structured environment where motorists and professionals can operate independently.
All commercial work and technician engagement is handled separately through Bid2Fix™.
HOST REQUIREMENTS
To be considered, your site must meet core operational and physical criteria:
Suitable Premises
A functional workshop or garage space capable of safely accommodating vehicle access and movement.
Ramp or Working Bay
Ideally a two-post lift or equivalent working setup. Ground-level bay setups may be considered if appropriate.
Safe Environment
Compliance with basic health & safety expectations, including lighting, access, and working conditions.
Basic Equipment Access
Essential tools and infrastructure available for general use (not full tooling provision).
Availability
Capacity to make the space accessible on a consistent and bookable basis.
COMMERCIAL
MODEL OVERVIEW
Ramp’n’Bay™ operates as an access-based system, not a traditional garage business.
-
Members pay for time-based use of space and equipment
-
Hosts generate income from facility usage, not repair work
-
Pricing structures and access models are standardised across the network
All technician-led or paid repair work is routed through Bid2Fix™, ensuring separation between:
-
Infrastructure (Ramp’n’Bay™)
-
Commercial work (Bid2Fix™)
