Ramp’n’Bay™ – Pro Member Access Terms & Conditions

 

1. Definitions

​

• “Ramp’n’Bay™” refers to the platform operator providing access to workshop facilities via Host locations.

• “Pro Member” refers to an approved automotive technician or specialist granted access to facilities.

• “Host Site” refers to an independent workshop location providing physical infrastructure.

• “Motorist” refers to the vehicle owner or user accessing the facility.

• “Access” refers strictly to the use of space, ramps, tools, and equipment—not the provision of services.

 

2. Nature of Access (Core Principle)

 

   Ramp’n’Bay™ provides infrastructure-only access.

​

• No repair, diagnosis, or mechanical services are provided by Ramp’n’Bay™ or the Host.

• Pro Members operate as independent professionals, not employees, agents, or representatives of Ramp’n’Bay™.

• Any work undertaken is privately arranged between the Pro Member and the Motorist.

 

3. Pro Member Status

 

   By being granted access, you confirm that:

• You are appropriately skilled, trained, and competent in the work you undertake.

• You operate as an independent contractor.

• You are responsible for your own:

  • Work standards

  • Business conduct

  • Legal compliance

 

   Ramp’n’Bay™ does not verify or guarantee your qualifications beyond initial access         vetting.

 

4. Scope of Permitted Activity

 

Pro Members may:

​

   Use workshop space, ramps, and tools for:

​

• Inspection

• Light to moderate mechanical work

• Pre-agreed repair activity (outside Pit-Stop restrictions)

​

Pro Members must NOT:

​

• Misrepresent Ramp’n’Bay™ as a service provider

• Carry out unsafe, illegal, or non-compliant work

• Exceed the operational limits of the booked access type (e.g. Pit-Stop constraints where applicable)

5. Pit-Stop Operational Restrictions

 

   Where operating within a Pit-Stop Access session, Pro Members must comply with:

• Inspection-first limitation

• No major dismantling

• No long-duration repair work

• No vehicle storage

• Vehicle must exit same day

 

   Pit-Stop exists strictly for decision-stage intervention, not repair completion.

 

6. Relationship with Motorists

​

• Any agreement for work is directly between Pro Member and Motorist

• Ramp’n’Bay™ is not a party to that agreement

• Payment arrangements (unless otherwise structured via Bid2Fix™) are independent

 
   Pro Members are solely responsible for:

• Pricing

• Work quality

• Dispute handling

7. Liability & Risk

• All activity is undertaken at the Pro Member’s own risk

• Pro Members accept full liability for:

  • Work carried out

  • Tools used

  • Vehicle handling

   Ramp’n’Bay™ and Host Sites are not liable for:

• Faulty repairs or workmanship

• Financial loss arising from Pro Member actions

• Damage caused during Pro Member operations

8. Insurance Requirements

   Pro Members are strongly advised (and may be required) to hold:

• Public Liability Insurance

• Professional Indemnity Insurance

• Motor Trade Insurance (where applicable)

   
   Proof of insurance may be requested at any time.

9. Equipment & Facility Use

• Equipment is provided on an “as-is” basis

• Pro Members must:

  • Use all equipment correctly and safely

  • Report faults immediately

  • Not misuse or modify equipment

   
    Any damage caused may result in:

• Charges

• Suspension of access

10. Health & Safety Compliance

   Pro Members must:

• Follow all on-site safety procedures

• Use appropriate PPE

• Operate within UK health & safety regulations

   
   Unsafe behavior may result in immediate removal from site.

11. Access Control & Revocation

   Ramp’n’Bay™ reserves the right to:

• Approve or deny access at its discretion

• Suspend or revoke Pro Member status without notice where necessary

   Grounds include:

• Unsafe conduct

• Misrepresentation

• Breach of terms

12. Conduct & Professional Standards

   Pro Members must:

• Act professionally at all times

• Respect other users and Host facilities

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

13. Separation from Bid2Fix™

   Where applicable:

• Bid2Fix™ operates as a separate entity handling structured job allocation and payments

• Pro Member access via Ramp’n’Bay™ does not guarantee work through Bid2Fix™

14. Data & Platform Use

• Any information provided must be accurate

• Ramp’n’Bay™ may store and process data for operational purposes

• Misuse of platform data may result in termination

 

15. Amendments

​

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

 

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
